  • Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate deployment and provision scalable, reliable infrastructure.
  • Leverage Kubernetes and containerization (Docker) to orchestrate applications and ensure high availability.
  • Implement security best practices and controls to safeguard resources and data, meeting industry standards.
  • Monitor and optimize resource utilization, planning for scalability to handle Lightning’s real-world demands.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, streamlining software deployment and releases.
  • Set up monitoring and alerting systems, analyzing logs to troubleshoot and maintain system reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and cross-functional teams to align on requirements and document processes clearly.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience designing and deploying scalable, production-ready cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and automation.
  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform) and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization (e.g., Docker), including orchestration experience.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments and managing scalable, secure systems.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) or Azure services.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to reliability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across teams and document processes clearly.

Why Join Us?
This isn’t just a job, it’s a mission to support first responders and law enforcement with Lightning, a groundbreaking SaaS platform that transforms their work. You’ll be part of a dynamic new team, building a product from scratch and keeping it running strong. If you’re ready to flex your DevOps skills on something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you!
